Dear
Valued Monroe Manor Residents:
We are
very excited to continue our Monroe Relocation Plan. The
Monroe Relocation plan is part of Phase V of the construction
plan. We recently had our second Community Information Meeting
for this year. One of our topics was the Monroe Relocation
Plan. There will be four major forms of communication during
this relocation to guide families living in homes that are in the
path of demolition.
Communication 1
What is
the Plan?
To
demolish enduring homes in Monroe Manor in order to replace
existing homes. We are providing a demolition schedule by
e-mail.
Who is
affected?
All
enduring homes located in Monroe Manor.
When
will the Demolition start and how long will it last?
We will
start moving residents from their homes in November 2010. We will
relocate about 20 families a month over a period of 5
months.
Where
will we be relocated to?
Our
plan is to place residents in homes that are designated for their
correct Pay Grades whenever possible. We guarantee a home to
all of our residents in the path of demolition.
How
will we communicate with the affected families?
4 major
Communications are planned
Communication 2
Small
group meetings:
Group
1: October 27th _scheduled to move in November
Group 2: November 10th – scheduled to move
in January
Group 3: November 17th – scheduled to move in
February
Group 4: December 7th – scheduled to move
in March
Group 5: December 8th – scheduled to move
in April
(Meetings are from 6-7pm)
Each
resident will receive a packet of information containing a
description of the two move options, a sample NTV, a sample Offer
Letter, a copy of the Relocation Expectations and Relocation
Preferences forms. You will receive the Demolition Schedule at this
time.
Communication 3
We will
issue an official notice to vacate 120 days prior to the move, but
we will offer you a quicker move option according to which group
you are in.
Communication 4
A
personal meeting with your Relocation Specialist will be scheduled
once an offer is extended and relocation offer letter will be
prepared.
On-going Communications
The
Relocation Specialist will make contact with residents in the path
of demolition by phone, e-mail, or notices to your
home.
We
value all Monroe Manor residents; we are striving to make this
transition as stress free as possible for effected
families. We look forward to working with you and your family
during this relocation process. Your dedicated Relocation
Specialist is Rebecca McCallister, she can be reached at
804-733-1558 or via email rmccallister@pinnaclefamily.com .
